DEF CON 25 Hacking Conference

DEF CON 25 Call for Workshops is now Closed!

Workshops are back again! Last year we had overwhelming interest for these workshops. We're happy to do this again, this time we will have pre registeration and a standby list for attendees.

If you are interested in becoming an instructor for one of our workshop spots, here is a refresher on what you should know before you submit your application:

• Workshops are not recorded.
• Workshops will be free to attendees on a first come, first served basis (exceptions may be made for low-fee material cost).
• Trainers will be compensated with the following honorarium: 3 human badges to do with what you wish and one speaker’s badge per instructor. Regardless of the number of instructors, you only get 3 human badges.

Now on to the submission requirements!

If you are interested in running a workshop, email us at workshops (at) with the following form (submit one form per workshop). Please be as detailed as possible so that our review board can best evaluate your submissions. All submissions are due by May 1, 2017.

After your submission is received, we will respond and let you know we got it. If you have not received confirmation of your submission after two business days, contact us again at: workshops (at) or nikita (at) . Protip: most of the time we’re in your spam box.

Thanks for helping grow DEF CON with new opportunities to help others learn and expand their knowledge. We hope that it was an enjoyable experience for those who have previously participated and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow with the community!

Thank you and good luck!
