DEF CON 26 Call For Papers Index
Space in our main tracks is limited but is not the only option. Not all talks are the same, therefore we have made a list of opportunities under this CFP index.
Find your DEF CON audience!
***This list will be updated as new information arrives.***
Main Tracks
Want to speak at DEF CON? Great! We would love to have you. If you haven't already, we recommend you read the CFP announcement for DEF CON 26 before you begin, to get a feel of the theme and goals for this year's content.
Demo Labs
The DEF CON Demo Lab is a dedicated area for hackers to show off what they have been working on, to answer questions, and even coax attendees into giving feedback on their projects.
Presenters will be given two hours and a location to present a tool or project of their creation; show what it does, how it works, and why we should add it to our own hacker armory. (Labs are not recorded)
The CFP will be announced here: https://defcon.org/html/defcon-26/dc-26-cfdl.html Typically does not open until the end of March. In the meantime, send inquiries to: demolab [at] defcon ]dot[ org
Workshops
Workshops are back! Workshops are not recorded, and will be free to attendees on a first come, first served basis (exceptions may be made for low-fee material cost).
For more information on the benefits of becoming an instructor, apply here: https://defcon.org/html/defcon-26/dc-26-cfw.html
Villages
If you think your presentation may fit well within a specific village, contact them and see about submitting. There is no rule that says you can't submit your talk to DEF CON and a village too. So, if your content is a good fit, go for it.
