Call for Demo Labs is Now Closed
Announcing the DEF CON 30 Call For Demo Labs!
The DEF CON Demo Lab is a dedicated area for hackers to show off what they have been working on, to interact with fellow hackers, answer questions, and even coax attendees into giving feedback on the project.
Presenters will be given a dedicated time and location to present a tool or project of their creation; show what it does, how it works, and why we should add it to our own hacker armory.
If you’re interested in presenting your tool in the DEF CON Demo Lab here’s what we’re going to need from you…

Also note: Your tool or hardware must be open source. This is about you sharing what you’ve created with the community and getting them excited about using it / contributing to it. This is not the place to sell things. There is a vendor area for those looking to pitch something or sell something.
What you’ll get…
A space in the DEF CON Demo Lab, a network connection, a small table and stand with a monitor or projector, and power. You will have a 2 hour dedicated time slot to show off your stuff. Oh, and you'll get a DEF CON badge as well, so that's cool. Prior to the event you will have a dedicated space in the online forums. All of this will give you exposure to over 20,000 hackers on site, and exposure to countless individuals through the DEF CON website, forums, and twitter feed.
You’ll be showing off your project to a highly technical audience which will drive conversation, innovation, and maybe even controversy - we can’t be certain so we’ll leave that to you! Get your submissions in now and we’ll pick the most promising folks to face the masses in August. Good Luck, and we’ll see you at DEF CON!
Interested? Email to demolab [at] defcon ]dot[ org by May 1st, 2022 and we'll respond with any questions we may have. Note: late submissions will not be considered, so get your submissions in promptly.
